Single vehicle crash on Nicholas Road
A rollover accident sent one person to hospital in Lincoln on June 10. The accident occurred on Nicholas Road near Interstate 65 during daylight hours, according to California Highway Patrol (CHP). The victim was taken to Sutter Roseville Medical Center for evaluation and treatment. The car caught fire, and authorities said the car had been burning for some time after the accident, delaying the investigation into the individual car crash. No report on the victim’s condition has been issued at this time.

The car dropped power lines while driving on the two-lane road east of Interstate 65, and 50 PG&E customers were without power at the time of this report. The company was at the scene to try to restore power, but no estimate was given of when it might return. Traffic in both directions is prohibited on Nicholas Road.
